The Lucid Education Suite Links to an external site. is a collection of visual applications designed to combine the creative power of diagramming and design to enhance engagement, boost student collaboration, and enrich course content. These applications include:

  • Lucidchart Links to an external site.: An intelligent diagramming tool for creating process maps, flow charts, organizational structures, and technical diagrams.
  • Lucidspark Links to an external site.: A collaborative virtual whiteboard and the official replacement for Google Jamboard, ideal for brainstorming, mind mapping, meeting facilitation, and virtual whiteboarding.

With the Lucid Education Suite's integration in Canvas, instructors and students can create and embed Lucid documents directly into assignments, pages, quizzes, and discussions. Instructors can even create assignments that automatically generate individual copies of Lucid documents for each student. Additionally, Lucid documents are fully compatible with SpeedGrader.

Lucid is available to all instructors and students in Canvas at no cost.
